Biography (1)
- Dr. Md Fazlul Hoque is a Professor of Mathematics at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST), Pabna, Bangladesh. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, in January 2018, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Yao-Zhong Zhang and Dr. Ian Marquette. Following his PhD, Dr. Hoque undertook postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic, and served as a visiting researcher at the Department of Mathematics, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, USA. At PUST, he has held leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Science and Chairman of the Department of Mathematics. He also served as the convener of the 15th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2024, Rajshahi Region. Dr. Hoque's research interests lie in Mathematical Physics, particularly finite-dimensional classical and quantum integrable systems, superintegrable systems, exactly solvable models, quadratic and polynomial algebras, special functions, orthogonal polynomials, and Lie (super)algebra. He has authored over 60 publications in prestigious journals, such as Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, Journal of Mathematical Physics, Annals of Physics, European Physics Journal Plus, and more. A prolific academic contributor, Dr. Hoque has presented his research at over 24 conferences and seminars across the globe, including in Bangladesh, India, Australia, France, Canada, Thailand, Czech Republic, and Poland. His academic and personal pursuits have taken him to numerous countries, including the Australia, USA, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungary, Norway, Vatican City, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Turkey, Qatar, UAE, and others.
