Biography (1)

  • Dr. Sultana Shakila Khan is the founder chairman and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Pabna University of Science and Technology ,Pabna. She joined as a Lecturer(Chemistry) at this University on 1st January 2011. She obtained a Ph.D in chemistry titled “Synthesis and X-Ray Crystallographic Analysis of Nickel (II), Copper (II), Palladium (II) Complexes Having N, O And N, S Donor Ligands and Study of Their Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activities”, in 2024. Dr. Sultana Shakila Khan completed her Master of Science (Chemistry) in 2007 with first class (1st Position) and Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 2006 with first class from the Department of Chemistry, Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Earlier, she passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) from Govt. Shaheed Bulbul College, Pabna and the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) from Pabna Govt. Girls' High School, Pabna, both under Rajshahi Board in 2001 and 1999 with first division respectively. She teaches courses on Inorganic Pharmaceutical Chemistry-I, Physical Pharmacy-I, Inorganic Pharmaceutical Chemistry-II, Pharmaceutical Analysis-I, Advanced Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Analysis-II, Physical Pharmacy-II and Advanced Analytical Pharmacy to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has been acting as Project supervisor at the undergraduate level and research supervisor at the postgraduate level and conducting these effectively. Her research interests include Co-ordination Chemistry, Organomettalic Chemistry and Bio-inorganic Chemistry. Her research articles have been published in internationally recognized journals.
