Biography (1)

  • Md Motiur Rahman was born in Gaibandha, Bangladesh on 30th March 1988. He is an assistant professor of Civil Engineering Department at the Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST), Bangladesh. He is a also registered professional engineer in Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh in 2012, and is currently enrolled (from March 2018) in the Ph.D. program at the Kunsan National University, South Korea. His current research includes seismic performance and vulnerability assessment, seismic hazard and risk assessment, structural health monitoring, soil-structure interaction, primary-secondary structure interaction, and the development of computer tools for civil engineering applications. His teaching interests include the courses related to structural engineering and geotechnical engineering, and computer programming (Python, Matlab, C/C++). Besides his teaching work, he continues his research on structural and geotechnical engineering. He has some international and national Journals and Conference Papers.
