Biography (1)

  • Md. Asfaqur Rahman is currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He joined as a Lecturer of this University on 28 October 2013. He is a permanent resident of Chapainawabganj district by birth. He passed his SSC from Rajarampur Hamidullah High School, Chapainawabgonj in 2001 and HSC from New Government College, Rajshahi in 2003. He obtained BBA and MBA (HRM) degree from the Department of Management Studies, Dhaka University in 2007 and 2008 respectively. He earned a Master of Philosophy in Business Administration (M.Phil) in 2017. Since joining, he is a member of the Academic Committee of the Department of Business Administration. He has been the Coordinator of the EMBA Batch-09 of Department of Business Administration. His research interests include Quality of Work Life (QWL), Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Motivation, Job Satisfaction, and Workplace Safety & Management. Already 19 of his research papers have been published in reputed national and international journals. He has already participated in 08 conferences at home and abroad. He is a permanent member of Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA), Dhaka University Management Club (DUMC), Management Alliance, Dhaka University. In his personal life, he is married and is a Father of two son.
