Biography (1)
- Dr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun is an Associate Professor and most senior faculty member of the Finance and Banking Discipline at the Department of Business Administration of Pabna University of Science and Technology. He received Ph.D. in Working Capital Management of Pharmaceutical Industry in Bangladesh. Dr. Mamun completed his MBA and BBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Rajshahi. Earlier, he passed Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) from Parkhidirpur High School, Athgoria, Pabna .and Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) from Dashuria Degree College, Ishwardi, Pabna both under Rajshahi Board in the year 2000 and 2002 with first division respectively. He teaches on some courses related to the Principles of Finance, Financial Management, Principles and Practices of Banking, Corporate Finance, Bank Management to undergraduate (BBA) students and Corporate Financial Theory, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management to postgraduate (MBA) students. Mamun's research interests include the contemporary issues of corporate finance, working capital management, bank capital adequacy and bank Performance. His research has been published in several nationally and internationally recognized journals. Some of his research has been funded through university competitive grants.
